Professional Experience:

Upendo became a friend August of 2002. He brings over 30 plus years of professional work and volunteer experience as a teacher, coach, counselor, and tutor with school age children and youth in social service, educational and community based programs. Prior to his hiring Upendo worked for the Seattle Public Schools (Madrona K-8, African American Academy, Thurgood Marshall)

Education:

Significant course work in Human Services (Alcohol/drug education/chemical dependency) including behavior shaping, reinforcing appropriate behavior and skill training technique in alcohol/drug intervention.
